i dont agree with the previous reviewer that this album is one of the better ones for the band. The only standout song is the opener , Pandora, and the fans were right that this album as a whole was pretty weak and blues based.the fans , including me were looking for the majesty and melodic brilliance of LPs like Grand Hotel,Exotic Birds and especially the first one, Shine On Brightly. The live concert album spoiled a lot of fans with the brilliant orchestra, and after 75 ,the band seemed to take a downturn writing wise. With that said ,I still love just about anything with Gary Brooker's voice and Reid's lyrics

I never understood why this album was so hated by the critics and the loyal Procol fans. A unique sound combined with the production of Lieber and Stroller makes this album a great listen nearly 35 years after it was released. Ok, the cover of 8 days a week does not work for the band. Pandora's box, Fools gold and taking my time are classic songs. There are other gems hidden in this album. The one Procol album I never get tired of.
