    Johnny Winter was good. His playing was fluid, fast, made sense, and he could flat out wring some emotion from his guitar. His voice was whiskey rough which is great for belting out a rocker and for crying in your beer blues. In my opinion very few matched him and nobody surpassed him. This is a good album by him. Not his best and certainly not his worst. Good mixture of electric rockers and acoustic blues. If I was rating this against other performers it would have been a 5 star, but I'm rating it against himself.
