Incredible work done with collaboration of David Paich (Toto), David Foster (genius behind Chicago´s resurrection in the 80´s), Vini Poncia (Kiss albums Unmasked and Dinasty), Bernie Taupin ( who wrote the letter for most of the early songs of Elton John), the incredible James Newton Howard (also prducer of the album). It was the last album with Casablanca records for Cher. It is an underground masterpiece with the essentials of the sound of the first years of the decade of the 80´s. In this album Cher sounds like Donna Summer´s "the wanderer" with a mix of new wave and old rock n´roll, with the classical 4 chords and basic 4x4 drum rythms, and simple synthetisers. Maybe it is not one of her best works, but is part of her transition from the 70´s old pop an disco sound to a more energy and rock predominance as you can check in "we all fly home" one of the best songs. If you like music of th 80¨s you will enjoy this album.
Duane Allman died in 1971, this album is from the early 80's. Cher and Les Dudek were in a "hush-hush" relationship at the time. Decent album, Les was/is a great player, check out his other albums, good stuff.
Little do you all know who all is in this group..her hubby then Duane Allman, Les Dudek and others..this album only made it on underground radio stations and thats why it was never on the charts..We All Fly Home is great!!! So is 88Degrees...thats just two..give it a listen..you wont regret it..
