Wie kann das funktionieren. Zwei unterschiedliche Musikcharakteren gleichzeitig auf einem gemeinsamen Album. Erstaunlich ! Ich bin positiv überrascht.

This is a truly magical album. Crystal Gayle's voice is beautiful, melifluous; while Tom Waits is more restrained and soulful than he sometimes is. Altogether, with some excellent songs, this is one of my favourite albums ever. Highly recommended.
NB. I've just seen the film and it wasn't half as wonderful as the album.
