The Previous reviewer and I remember those great 8 track moments. I would wash my uncle's car and he would let me listen to his 8 tracks. Then, every evening he would put on CCR and play along. Such great memories. I am now 52,a grandmother and I have bought my first guitar and if there was one singular artist that had me at first sound,it was John Fogerty. With the world in the shape it is today,I treasure those memories of long summer days and the immortal sound of John Fogerty and Creedence.
A timeless masterpiece, I have been drawn to his music ever since my older sister's boyfriend used to let me set in his 70' Nova and listen to his 8 track back in 72'. I was there at Harveys Tahoe outdoor area 06? to see Fogerty and Mellencamp best concert I have ever been too. A funny coincidence happend just last year, a tv series called "Finders" my wife would watch when it came on I was drawn to that tune and just couldnt get enough of it. I think I watched it just to listen to that tune. I finally googled it and low and behold it was John Fogerty! His raw style of guitar playing is so refreshing yet he has been around since I was a kid.
Rock on John Fogerty! thank you for staying true to your sound and style.
