Yes this was David Gilmour without Roger Waters. Not my favorite. It really should not have been a Pink Floyd album in my opinion. This should have been a David G. album.
This was Pink Floyd's final album. The reviewer who stated that Roger Waters made this album on his own either does not know Pink Floyd at all (Roger was not part of the band when this album came out) or has confused this album with "The Final Cut" Roger's final album with the band ten years earlier. Either way, this was a very fitting goodbye for the Floyd, especially the closing track "High Hopes". Shine on David!
Great album, not realy Pink Floyd. Roger Waters made this album on his own I believe. Very active in the lyrics as always.
