I'll preface this by saying that this is my first album review, so please keep that in mind as you read this.

Being from Chicago, the title of this album brought a smile to my face. Normally when I here something new from an artist who has been around a long time, it tends to be watered-down and quite lack-luster. Not so with this album! G.T. & The Destroyers (with the help of some well known guests) really kick the boogie into high-gear on this album and prove they can still bang out the over-driven guitar sound which has made Chicago Style Blues so great.

This album is definitely in the same style of most of G.T.'s music, which some may argue is not a good thing. While there are some groups which experiment with music style as their careers evolve (i.e. The Beatles), G.T.'s style remains strong and well polished. If you're a fan of George Thorogood & The Destroyers, this album shouldn't disappoint.
