    Slightly less aggressive than some of their other albums, this one has a slightly more metal-core feel to it, that instead of taking away from their usual intensity, adds an emphatic feel that I don't typically hear from death metal groups. Without a doubt, my favorite As I Lay Dying CD to date. My personal favorite tracks are Parallels, Anger and Apathy, and Upside Down Kingdom.
