I guess I expected the signature sound that made .38 Special so good. From 1979-1986, .38 Special put together a string of records that made them radio staples. I just can't listen to this without expecting that sound. #6 does manage to evoke that memory, but the rest just sounds like broken down rock n rollers trying to put something together because they need pocket change.
