  Young Sid, Tyree and Deach make up Smashproof, a hip-hop trio of MC's from New Zealand whose debut album is a concept of sorts. It takes on the topic of what happens from Friday when work finishes until you head back again Monday morning.
  
  The intro Clocking Out is a good sign that this album isn't about anything other than The Weeend. Gin Wigmore helps out on Brother with her distinctive voice at complete odds with the styling of the guys, not that it doesn't work.
  
  If there is any need to be reminded It's Friday sets up the night but Hot Boy bring a bit of Sth Auckland reality to things. Next up Morning After reminds us all of the dangers of excess alcohol but tell it like it is.
  
  The downside is that there are a couple of what feel like fillers, Breathe In, Breathe Out is by numbers while All NIght Long sound like too much like Jay-Z & Beyonce too just be a nod. My Crib even goes on to mention her.
  
  Sunday Star Times brings it back to something closer the sum three talents should produce with it tip to one of the few remaining newspapers.
