Although anyone new to Sheep on Drugs may not realise it, this is their definitive album. Cheekily entitled Greatest Hits it is in fact their debut album. When it was released it helped to fuse the dance culture and alternative cultures and is arguably the ancestor of later dance inspired noise-industrial such as Combichrist and Unterart.
Do not take this album at face value, remember that their tongues are stuck firmly in their cheeks. As a commentary on yuppie culture it constitutes a scathing attack.
Love it or hate it: this is a cult classic.
