    Genius! The late Clive James wrote some of the best, most thoughtful lyrics ever. Pete Atkin set them to some lovely, soft-jazzy music. OK, so he'd not the greatest singer ever, but much better than (say) Tom waits, who's (paradoxically) much better known. Get your ears around this album and the others, and if you have any sensibility you'll realise that this is sublime songwriting at its best.
