The artist is Peter Elyakim Taussig. Would you know the whole performance is built up note by note, rather than played by musicians? I wouldn't have guessed. Impressive in that regard. Excellent background music, but how to judge it artistically? I can't sort out my mixed feelings, as its production is so different from a live musician performing it seems somehow unfair to compare the two. Is a very good reproduction of a masterpiece to be valued the same way as a masterpiece?
