Great album. At this late stage of his career, Glen Campbell has made a truly courageous artistic leap. Beautiful songs, interspersed with wistful (appropriately brief) instrumentals. Wonderfullly conceived. Glen shows he's still a great singer and that he means it. Rhinestone Cowboy sure seems a long way away from this beautiful album. Thoughtful, serious but uplifting songs. Thanks for all the music Glen.

Beyond all of the sentimental reasons to love this record, it being Glen's final album as he battles alzheimer's disease, this record stands alone as a beautiful throwback to Glen's heyday. I hear so much of the past in these fantastic songs, yet so much energy that makes one feel as if Glen is just getting revved up! There are no weak tunes here, but standouts abound. The lead track, 'A Better Place' is gorgeous and heartwrenching all at the same time. Also, the very powerful ode to his wife Kim, There's No Me...Without You is a testament to a longsuffering wife who has stood by her man through many difficult circumstances.
